If Tina Turner had Scott Olsen around, life would’ve been a lot less traumatic.
Olsen came within one out of a complete game, two-hitter on Tuesday night. Over 8 2/3 innings, the young pimp fanned 8 Milwaukee batters in a 3-0 Marlins victory. The game wasn’t without it’s share of tense moments, though.
Allowing 2 walks and a hit in the ninth, Olsen would leave the game with bases loaded, 2 outs and the potential winning run at the plate. Enter Kevin Gregg, whose first pitch to Bill Hall was drilled deep to popped lazily into the outfield for the final out of the game, allowing Olsen to breathe a sigh of relief from the dugout.
The Pimp is now 4-1 on the season with a 2.22 ERA. Jump on the bandwagon while there’s still a few seats left.
Of note:
Mike Jacobs hit his ninth homerun of the season, increasing the Marlins 1-0 lead to 3-0 in the third inning. The Fish wouldn’t look back the rest of the game… Brewers manager, Ned Yost, was ejected in the fourth for arguing balls and strikes. He didn’t miss much.

Great game for the pimp. Looks like you were right in saying they’d get back on track after that rough Dodgers series. Hopefully they’ll finish this home set strong.
